Haka: A Lively M?ori Tradition
Haka: A Lively M?ori Tradition0The M?ori people in New Zealand carry powerful traditions, and one of the most exciting is the haka. The haka is a dance that begins with a chant that shakes the air. Performers stamp their feet, swing their hands, slap their bodies, and make fearsome facial expressions, such as bulging eyes and sticking out the tongue.

Haka was originally used to welcome guests and prepare warriors for battle. Today, it is performed at weddings, funerals, graduations, protests, and cultural events.
