Siblings Recognized for Reading 1,000 English Books   

• On Jan. 22, Iksan Mohyeon Library honored two siblings from Osannam Elementary School for reading 1,000 English books! Choi Seo-a (fifth grade): I never planned to read so many books, but collecting library stamps for each book made reading fun. Before I knew it, I had finished 1,000 books! Reading in English has helped improve my language skills. My favorite book is Duck Soup because the characters mistakenly believe one of the soup’s ingredients is a duck! Choi Un-san (second grade): My next goal is to read 2,000 books. I’ve already completed 1,100! My mom’s support has made reading exciting for me. The library rewards me every 100 books, and I feel proud to see my name and my sister’s on the bulletin board.
