Jellycat Brings a Futuristic World to Seoul   

• Renowned British soft toy brand Jellycat opened its first official themed store in Korea, the Jellycat 2075 AD General Store, on June 26 at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. Located on the department store’s fifth floor, this new permanent retail space offers an immersive, futuristic shopping experience designed to spark the imagination of young fans and collectors. Expanding on the brand’s previous “Jellycat Space” pop-up store in Seongsu, Seoul, the new store is themed around a fictional megacity in the year 2075. Visitors enter a story-filled environment featuring hover bikes, bright neon lights, and sleek metallic displays. The interactive design allows guests to explore a narrative in which Jellycat’s beloved plush characters travel through space to arrive in a futuristic world. To celebrate the grand opening, Jellycat introduced “Bartholomew Bear Disco Ball,” a global early-access exclusive item. The special-edition plush features the brand’s iconic bear dressed in a sparkling disco-ball outfit, symbolizing a playful interstellar party. Alongside this exclusive release, the store also offers Jellycat’s popular collections, including the animal-themed “Loveables” and quirky “Amuseables,” which feature plush toys inspired by everyday foods, plants, and objects. Jellycat partnered with Till White, a premium cafe inside The Hyundai Seoul, to offer themed drinks and desserts.
