• Dear Jane, I finally got a new pair of basketball shoes! I bought them at the mall last weekend. My mom helped me pick them out for my new hobby, basketball. Since I just started, I’m practicing the basics, including dribbling and simple plays. I love the fast pace on the court, even though I still stumble sometimes. Soon, I’ll learn my team’s strategies so I can become a better teammate. I can’t wait to show you my new skills and my new shoes the next time we meet.
