RE: Lunar New Year   

• Dear Jane, I recently met my friend Hao from China after a long time, and we caught up on many things. He told me about the Lunar New Year, another major New Year celebration in China. This year, it falls on Feb. 17. People celebrate with lion dances, parades, and fireworks to bring good luck. Families enjoy large dinners with special foods such as whole fish and sweet rice balls, and children receive red envelopes filled with money. It sounds lively and exciting, don’t you think?
