Do you know how to play the piano? Today, many children all over the world can play it. Playing the piano is fun! But do you know when people started playing it? Who invented this wonderful musical instrument?
The piano was invented in Italy in 1698. A man named Bartolomeo Cristofori invented it. He was a harpsichord maker. One day, he decided to make new designs. After many experiments, the piano was born.
The piano is a very amazing instrument. There are 230 strings inside a piano. Also, a piano has over 12,000 parts inside it. Among the parts, 10,000 are moving! Many famous people, including Mozart and Beethoven, learned how to play and make music on the piano. Today, the instrument is still loved by many people all over the world. Thanks to Mr. Cristofori, we can enjoy beautiful music!
