What Can Babies Do?

Babies are cute and lovely. They need their parents¡¯ love and care. They cannot do anything by themselves. It seems like all they can do is cry. But that¡¯s not true. They may be small, but they have many surprising abilities.
Did you know that babies can swim very well? Babies are born with swimming abilities. They can naturally hold their breath.
Babies are born with very poor vision. But they can recognize their mothers right away. Babies have a great sense of smell, too.
They cannot speak. Instead, they try to communicate with their hands. Also, babies can hear everything! In fact, they understand what people say. So you have to be careful when you say something to a baby!
