Let¡¯s Have Good Manners
Do you want to grow up to become a great teen? Sure you do! Well, there is one important thing you must have. Without this, it¡¯s hard to become a great teen. No, it¡¯s not video games or nice clothes. You must have good manners.
What are manners? It¡¯s how you act. How do you act on the dinner table? Do you eat before elders? Do you not help out with setting the table? Do you burp? These are not polite. We should use good manners every day. And all of you must practice them. Let me teach you some.
When someone gives you something, always say, ¡°Thank you.¡± And when you ask for something, always say, ¡°Please.¡± It¡¯s simple, right? If you burp, you should say, ¡°Excuse me.¡± These three are the basics. But, you can use them in many ways.
A person with good manners knows how to apologize. If you did something wrong, feel free to say, ¡°I am sorry.¡±
A person with good manners is also helpful. If you see an old man carrying heavy things, help him. Reach out, and say, ¡°Let me help you with that.¡± Be a nice kid. And let¡¯s prepare to become a great teenager. People are always around you. Why don¡¯t you start practicing good manners today?
