Playing in the Water

It¡¯s summer! And it¡¯s a great season. Don¡¯t you love your summer break? I am really enjoying mine. This is the season to play in the water. Whether it¡¯s at the beach or at the pool, playing in the water is fun. But we must be careful. It¡¯s because we can get hurt. Listen carefully.

You have to always do a warm up. What¡¯s a warm up? It¡¯s stretching your muscles and getting your heart ready. Your body can get shocked if you just jump into the water. So, stretch your legs, arms and waist. Stretch for five minutes. After this, jog around the water. When your heart is pumping, you are ready!

The weather is hot. But the water¡¯s temperature is much cooler. This is why you always need a warm up. After a warm up, your body won¡¯t be shocked by the cold water. There¡¯s one more thing. Never eat too much before you go into the water. The food will not digest well. Also, remember this! An adult should always be with you when you are in the water. It¡¯s good to have fun. But it¡¯s important to be safe. Have fun this summer my friends!
