Bad Lies Are Never Ok!

Everyone sometimes lies. There are good lies and bad lies. Good lies don¡¯t make anyone upset or sad. But bad lies can make people angry and sad.

If telling the truth will hurt someone¡¯s feelings, then telling a good lie is ok. For example, even if you don¡¯t like a birthday gift from your friend, you don¡¯t need to tell the truth. You can just say ¡°Thank you. I really like it!¡± In this case, your lie will not make your friend sad or angry. But bad lies can hurt someone¡¯s feelings. You have to remember that bad lies are never ok!
