Protect Your Eyes!

Your eyes are very important. Can you imagine how it would be if you couldn¡¯t see? Imagine that everything is dark all the time. That¡¯s scary. Good eyesight is something we all need. As kids we need to protect our eyes.

There are so many things that can hurt our eyes. Can you think of some? Let me tell you. Every day we study in school. Reading is something we do all the time. Most of us have a bad habit when reading. We look too close at the book. When this becomes a habit, our eyes can get bad. It¡¯s important to take your eyes about 30 centimeters away from the book.

Television and computer are also very harmful to the eyes. The monitor sends out strong and bright colors. Watching too much T.V. will hurt your eyes. The same goes with computer games. When your eyes feel tired, you can get headaches. You might think this is not important. But, in time your eyes will get bad. So, please watch only 1-2 hours of T.V. And let¡¯s play less video games.
