The Chinese government has decided to ban making new Internet cafes this year because they feel the Internet is harming its young people. China, unlike Korea and the United States, is a communist country. That means that the government places great importance in what its people can and cannot say, both on and off-line. While they encourage schools and businesses to use the web to promote education and create jobs, they frown on people learning too much about the outside world or expressing how they feel. But because China has nearly 137 million Internet users, China¡¯s young people are viewing and sharing information like never before. China officials are also worried that
